The Hamptons International Film Festival announced they will host a Special Screening of Apple TV+’s new documentary series “Gutsy” followed by an “A Conversation With…” discussion with Host and Executive Producer Chelsea Clinton as part of the 30th anniversary edition of the Festival. HIFF also announced additional Spotlight selections at this year’s event, including the East Coast Premiere of Tobias Lindholm’s THE GOOD NURSE, and presentations of Rian Johnson’s GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY and Rodrigo Garcia’s RAYMOND & RAY. On Monday, October 10, HIFF will host a special screening of Apple TV+’s new documentary series “Gutsy” followed by an “A Conversation With…” discussion with “Gutsy” Host and Executive Producer Chelsea Clinton, sponsored by The Macallan. The eight-part docuseries, based on the Clintons’ New York Times best-selling book “The Book of Gutsy Women,” features Hillary and Chelsea as they embark on a thought-provoking journey to speak with pioneering women artists, activists, community leaders and everyday heroes who show us what it truly means to be gutsy. Joining the Clintons in the series are some of their personal heroes: extraordinary, courageous and resilient women who have made an impact in their community and on the world, including Glennon Doyle, Dr. Jane Goodall, Mariska Hargitay, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Kim Kardashian, Megan Thee Stallion, Amber Ruffin, Amy Schumer, Gloria Steinem, Wanda Sykes, Symone (aka Reggie Gavin), Abby Wambach, Natalie Wynn (aka ContraPoints) and many more. “Gutsy” shows Hillary and Chelsea as you’ve never seen them before, revealing their special mother-daughter bond and the unique, multigenerational way they approach the important and timely issues highlighted in each episode.

HIFF also announced additional Spotlight selections for the 2022 edition, sponsored by Audi, including the East Coast Premiere of Tobias Lindholm’s THE GOOD NURSE, distributed by Netflix and following a nurse who is suspicious that her colleague is responsible for a series of mysterious patient deaths and risks her own life to uncover the truth, starring Jessica Chastain and Eddie Redmayne and based on true events; Rian Johnson’s GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY, distributed by Netflix and sees Benoit Blanc and his signature Southern drawl return to peel back the layers of another madcap murder mystery in this highly anticipated follow-up to KNIVES OUT, starring Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, Kate Hudson, and Dave Bautista; and Rodrigo Garcia’s RAYMOND & RAY, an Apple Original Film about half-brothers Raymond and Ray who have lived in the shadow of a terrible father, until their father’s funeral where they have a chance to reinvent themselves, starring Ewan McGregor, Ethan Hawke, Maribel Verdú, Sophie Okonedo, Todd Louiso, Tom Bower, Oscar Nuñez, and Vondie Curtis Hall. Previously announced Spotlight selections include THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN, CALL JANE, DEVOTION, EMPIRE OF LIGHT, MY POLICEMAN, ROSALINE, THE SAME STORM, SHE SAID, TILL, THE WHALE, and WHO INVITED CHARLIE?

In the World Cinema Narrative section, sponsored by Warren Tricomi, HIFF also announced the addition of Alice Diop’s SAINT OMER, a SUPER release, which takes place in the northern French town of Saint-Omer where a young academic and novelist attends the trial of a woman accused of killing her 15-month-old daughter.
