theater + film :: The Hamptons International Film Festival

Here’s information on two series HamptonsFilm will continue to present throughout this Spring 2020.

HamptonsFilm will continue “screening” a selection each week privately online of their popular “NOW SHOWING” series. Beginning this week of April 6th, links will become available on the Monday of each week on the NOW SHOWING page of HamptonsFilm Proceeds will go to HamptonsFilm, Guild Hall and the respective distributors for each film. One ticket is good for a three-day pass to see the film.

HamptonsFilm will continue their newly introduced series “FRIDAY FLASHBACK” where each week they will recommend a film audiences can find on online streaming platforms, and at the same time share a YouTube video of one of their conversations related to the film. Many of these selections will be from their popular SummerDocs series, some will be conversations that happened at the annual Film Festival in the Fall, and a few will be films that have gone through our Screenwriters Lab. On Friday, HamptonsFilm announced LISTEN TO ME MARLON directed by Stevan Riley as the “Friday Flashback” film for the week including the 2015 SummerDoc series post-screening discussion with the director, HamptonsFilm Co-Chair Alec Baldwin and Artistic Director David Nugent. Other films included are Academy Award-winning documentary ICARUS and VICTOR & VICTORIA.
