We have been working together for nearly a decade developing a design-oriented landscaping firm. Dan's education in Horticulture at SUNY Farmingdale and Kevin's education at the Cornell School of Architecture have fused to form a successful and award-winning collaboration. Our garden departs from formal planning principles of axial symmetry because of the context of the site. Ours is an edge site that rejects symmetry but embraces the metaphor of the stage set. Backdrop elements support the textural and colorful performances of plantings and natural cedar gazebo as the stage reverses its role to become audience to the scenic valley below.
