Richard Jordan has been working as a decorative painter and designer since 1989, drawing on experience from museum and theater work, as well as training in painting and calligraphy. He particularly enjoys projects reflecting a sense of history and fantasy, working closely with clients to create or contribute to environments that best fit their own sensibility and lifestyle. His work has been seen in The New York Times, HG and in Suzanne Slesin's New York Style. He studied at The Cooper Union and was previously a master craftsperson in Objects Reproduction at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
