One of Americas leading interior designers, Noel Jeffrey is known for his fluency in a broad range of styles and his ability to create environments that are both inviting and adventuresome.

In addition to appearing in six Kips Bay Boy's Club Show Houses, his interiors have appeared in every notable shelter magazine, The New York Times and Style on CNN.

Daring color, unusual juxtapositions, historical references and an architectural eye are his trademarks. His eclectic breadth of styles extends from 18th century neoclassic to sleek modern.

Finding the perfect objects for each room - a Jeffrey hallmark - has led him to design custom pieces for his clients.

Trained at Pratt and Columbia University, Mr. Jeffrey developed a respect for the Bauhaus, an influence still prevalent in his work.

He recently wrote a book on the process of design, The Elements of Interior Design.
