From the time I was a little girl, I wanted to be a ballet dancer, struck by
the delicacy and romance, the seeming effortlessness of the dancers, the
striving for perfection and the enchanting, enveloping music. It was the
most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. As a designer, I am still greatly
inspired by the ballet and all that it represents. My work is an attempt to
bring comfort, simplicity, timelessness and beauty to those who long for
qualities that seem to be slowly slipping away.
