Gerald Tolomeo's penchant for mixing traditional well-bred furnishings and
contemporary designs enables him to create versatile interiors that project
a well-traveled look. "To achieve the quality I strive for, my concept is to
use unexpected elements within a single space, and often I like to add
accessories that make you smile. Elegance certainly can be obtained without
sacrificing comfort and ease." This New York/metro area designer gains his
recognition not only from quality interiors and an impressive clientele, but
from work published in several shelter magazines. Mr. Tolomeo has
participated in ten Designer Showhouses, including Kips Bay in 1994. A
graduate of the New York School of Interior Design and the Fashion Institute
of Technology, Mr. Tolomeo holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Montclair
State University, and attended the Sorbonne in Paris.
