Charles Damga started his own firm, Damga Design, Inc., in 1977,
specializing in high-end residential and commercial projects. He introduced
a custom furniture collection, which was profiled in the April issue of
Interior Design in 1990. He holds degrees in Interior Design and Product
Design from Parsons School of Design. Charles recently re-entered the
restaurant field designing American Renaissance, a multilevel renovation of
a Beaux Arts industrial showroom in New York City's Tribeca district. With
offices in Manhattan, Southampton and Pam Beach, he works on a diverse range
of projects and personally supervises every aspect of his exquisitely
detailed designs. His work is published widely in Italy and Japan as well as
the United States.
