Barbara Ostrom, ASID, graduated from New York University, New York School of
Interior Design with a BFA, Pratt Institute with a Masters Degree in
Interior Design, and the Sorbonne with a graduate degree in Classic European
Interior Design and Interior Architecture. She has taught at F.I.T.,
Parsons, New York School of Interior Design, Berkeley and Pratt Institute.
She was the featured speaker this year at the National Home Show. Casa du
Jardin devoted its cover and 18 pages to her work which can also be seen in
26 published books including Rooms With a View and Showcase of Interior
Design.
Barbara has been a regular featured designer in Kips Bay and Rogers Memorial
Library Showhouses.
Barbara Ostrom Associates, founded in 1972, is a nationally recognized
interior design/interior architectural firm working in residential and
commercial design. The company has offices in New York City and Mahwah, New
Jersey. Their extensive client list features many prominent residences
including that of former President and Mrs. Richard Nixon, New Jersey State
Senator and Mrs. Gerald Cardinale and the cinematographer, Owen Roizman.
