Anthony Antine's approach to interior design has evolved from his background
as a couturier who dressed fashionable and famous people here and abroad.
Love of luxurious fabric, rich color, and comfort are hallmarks of his
approach. His recent projects include restoration of a Mediterranean-style
villa in New Jersey; building a 15,000 square foot beach house on a North
Carolina barrier reef; designing some of Robert Redford's residences; a
mountaintop retreat in Atimi, Japan as well as a classical home in Tokyo.
His newest project is a beach house in Jeddah. An ongoing job is the
restoration of The Point Hotel in Saranac Lake, a project featured as the
cover story of the June 1993 issue of Interior Design. Before its latest
renovation Mr. Antine's home was published in the June issue of the same
magazine and the 1995 spring issue of Classic Home. The new renovation was
featured on CNN's Style. He has been in numerous Showhouses, including Kips
Bay and Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton.
