Artist Talks Steve Miller Saturday, November 12 6 pm Join Sagaponack artist Steve Miller as he talks about his work, his abiding interest in science, and the stunning collection of Neolithic Chinese pottery that inspired the series of paintings in the current exhibition Finders Keepers: The Obsessions of Passionate Collectors. The Southampton Garden Club presents "A Sense of Wonder" The Southampton Garden Club presents "A Sense of Wonder" - a two-act play based on the life and works of Rachel Carson. This one-woman, live show features Kaiulani Lee - a star of theatre, film and television, winner of the OBIE Award for outstanding achievement off-Broadway and nominee for the Drama Desk Award on Broadway. Artist's Resource Day This networking day for artists provides opportunities to "talk to the experts" about a wide range of topics. Andrew Botsford, Associate Editor, The Southampton Press, will make suggestions on how to write a press release that gets attention. Beth McNeill, founder of the McNeill Art Group, consults on image and promotion and how to launch your own website. Sara Nightingale, of the Sara Nightingale Gallery in Water Mill, will advise on your portfolio and let you know what galleries are looking for. Thinking of going digital? This popular event is back for a second season with Bill Roland of Roland.s Antiques, noted Manhattan dealer and auctioneer on iGavel.com. Specialists in 17th- 20th c.
