Dark Images, Bright Prospects: The Survival of the Figure After World War II depicts these works by Alfonso Ossorio, Willem de Kooning, Ethel Schwabacher and Romare Bearden in an exploraton of the decade which was a period of growth and optimism, but also of anxiety, fear and doubt. This exhibit is a collaboration between Southampton Public Schools and The Parrish Art Museum.
