On a rainy Friday night a wealthy Boston couple, David and Alexis Weinberg (Alan Rickman and Polly Walker) are racing to catch the last ferry so they can spend a weekend on their private island off the coast of Maine. The climate in the car is as nasty as the weather is outside, and when Polly sees an injured man on the side of the road (Norman Reedus) the last thing on David's mind is being a Good Samaritan. Polly's insistence on bringing the injured man with them sets off a series of eerie coincidences that bring them together for the entire weekend. Adam Coleman-Howard has created a taut phsycological drama that keeps you guessing until the final scene. Alan Rickman and Polly Walker are perfect as the cou-ple whose lives are empty of everything except material things and Norman Reedus continues to prove he is so much more than a pretty face. - Deena Juras
