Set against the backdrop of a bustling, metropolitan newspaper, Culture tells the story of an up-and-coming young journalist, Stevens (Greg German), who is promoted to the editor's desk in the paper's "culture" department and assigned his very own secretary. But Fay Templesman, played with hilarious moxie by Florence Stanley, is not just any secretary. She's been with the company for over a decade and is as much a part of the institution as the paper itself. Fay's slow pace and antiquated approach directly conflict with Stevens' computer-age, forward thinking agenda. In the ensuing battle of wills, Stevens learns the hard way that efficiency isn't always productive.
