Hotel De Love

Directed by Craig Rosenberg

In the mid-1980s, fraternal twin brothers, Rick and Stephen were at a party. Across the crowded room, Stephen saw a beautiful girl, Melissa, and fell instantly in love. But as he began to move toward her, Rick intercepted and got to her first. The two had a month-long whirlwind romance, watched longingly by Stephen, until Melissa had to go to school.

Now, Rick is the manager of the gloriously tacky Hotel De Love, a romantic getaway with outrageously themed rooms. Stephen is a successful stockbroker. Both brothers are unable to maintain romantic relationships. When Stephen brings their parents for a n anniversary vow-renewal celebration at the Hotel, and at the very same time long-lost Melissa turns up with her boyfriend for an amorous weekend, the groundwork is laid for a riotous romantic comedy.

First-time director Craig Rosenberg handles the hilarious escalating confusion with astonishingly deft assurance. Happy, if unexpected, endings abound, and will have you wanting to book your next vacation at the Hotel De Love.
