Interior design is complement to the successful antique business known as
Stingray Hornsby, specializing in museum quality 19th Century American
furniture. DeBare Saunders and Ronald Mayne are creating waves in the six
years they have been creating interiors. They won House Beautiful's "10
Best Showhouse Rooms' of 1993, and appeared on the cover of Architectural
Digest, House and Garden, Design Times- Northeast, and The New York Times.
Clients include the Newhouses, the Forbes, Governor and Mrs. Mario Cuomo for
the Governor's Mansion in Albany, and others throughout the country and
Lyford Cay, The Bahamas.
Saunders is a Parsons and Pratt graduate; Mayne, a graduate in Fine Arts
from Ohio University. They have an uncanny talent for recognizing and
fulfilling their client's 'undiscovered' vision. Their design philosophy is
influenced by the space and that little voice which guides them effortlessly
from period to contemporary interiors with unabashed style.
