Eric Cohler infuses traditional forms with the unexpected, juxtaposing
classical elements with contemporary materials for a jolt of unusual color
or texture. His work is timeless, fluid and energetic. Extensive studies
both of architecture and interior design are the catalysts for his very
enticing, comfortable and livable style.
Mr. Cohler designed the kitchen in the 1994 Kips Bay Show House and his work
has appeared in leading periodicals and books, both domestically and
internationally. He holds a Masters Degree in Historic Preservation from the
Columbia University School of Architecture.
