Shinnecock Hills Home

The Art Club will enjoy an exclusive tour of the Shinnecock Hills home belonging to Mr. & Mrs. Richard Edelman. This Shingle Style home was built by architect Katherine Budd in 1896 for two sisters, Georgina and Abby Roberta Howland, who were students at William Merritt Chase's famed Shinnecock Hills Summer School of Art. Six of Georgina and Abby's paintings remain in the home, as well as two watercolor architectural renderings of the house, signed by Miss Budd.
